The government has announced that driving lessons and theory tests in England only can resume from 4 July and practical driving tests from 22 July
Separate announcements are anticipated from the Scottish and Welsh governments
Those with driving tests on hold at the DVSA will be given priority by the DVSA and invited in batches to schedule a new appointment.
No announcement has been given about when we can resume booking new test appointments yet - but hopefully soon.
So it seems less than honest to accept new course bookings until we can give a test date!
Some Critical Workers may be eligible for Emergency Driving Tests for more information see
Learn to drive in just one or two weeks with an intensive driving course. 4 or 6 hours one to one driving lessons each day with a local fully qualified driving instructor. The free practical test is usually booked for the end of the week. Free online theory course and theory test included where required.
Our intensive driving courses range from a 2 or 3 day (12 hour) re-test course up to a full 8 or 12 day (48 hour) intensive driving course for the complete beginner.
Courses can be taken in manual or automatic cars.
Two course options are available
- 6 hours per day one to one in car tuition if you need to pass your test in the shortest possible time
- 4 hours per day if you need to fit your tuition in around other commitments such as shift work or child care.
Local fully qualified driving instructors
We only work with fully qualified local driving instructors to deliver one and two week intensive driving courses in so thay you learn to drive in your local area. Your instructor will pick you up and drop you off at home after each session. There are no hidden travel and accommodation costs when you book an intensive driving course with MyDrivingInstructor.co.uk.
Our intensive driving courses are strictly one to one. You will not be asked to share the driving with other pupils.
Slow learner or fast learner doesn't matter. Your driving instructor will exactly match your course to your ability and progress.
Your Driving Test
It is not possible to book a practical driving test for you until you have passed your driving theory test but we always aim to book your practical driving test at your local test centre for the end of your course.
The time for your driving test and use of your instructor's car for the test is included as part of your intensive driving course time
